How often do you share in the Lord's Supper...communion? Welcome to the mid-week edition of our podcast where we share a devotional to encourage you on your journey of faith in Jesus. Today's topic is the Lord's Supper based upon Matthew 26:26-28 "While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, He broke it and gave it to His disciples, saying, 'Take and eat; this is my body.' Then he took the cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, 'Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." Together, let's reflect on the power of what Jesus invited His disciples to participate in. It was not a tradition to continue or a quick passing spiritual drive-thru experience. Today, Jesus asks us to stop all we are doing in remembrance of His sacrifice on the cross.
